Today is my day off, so we did a family trip to IKEA for the first time and it was very nice; lovely vibes and I didnโt have any anxiety shopping.

Iโm sorry someone tried to invalidate your friendship with your friend by saying itโs less genuine when friendship itself isnโt linear and is all uniquely structured due to common interests and experiences made & shared in a moment.
Theres been times Iโve apologized or even friends have apologized that we donโt talk often but we understand that itโs not because we donโt want to itโs that we have our own schedules; we heavily talked about love and support for one another an I believe that understanding helps in the friendships.
As someone whose a low maintenance friend, I literally donโt get offended if a friend either IRL or online donโt talk to me daily because I know we all got a life and things going on where it may not be possible but doesnโt make the friendship any less genuine.
