apparently they didn't win the palworld lawsuit, dunno the full details but people are mentioning it as the reason that new pickmon game exists.
we think it's good when Nintendo lose.
We much prefer living in a world where this exists but Nintendo don't have absolute control over an entire subgenre of RPG than the world where they won and can just shut down anything that vaguely aligns with the genre.
