I can't imagine collaborative storytelling without a Jenga tower.

Well, I kind of know the answer. Because like, I aspire to make lots of cool stuff and engage with folks in social media, but all of life's other responsibilities are keeping me from doing that. So I have to make some sacrifices if I want the time to be creative. Easier said than done, though.
I'm struggling to crawl out of a creative rut right now and it has me questioning how some folks can maintain a social media presence AND make cool shit without burning out.
I require a solid framework for automations, so that narrows my options significantly.
Are there any 3pl/shipping/fulfillment platforms out there with dashboards that are actually stable? I ditched Shipstation last year due to their rising costs (as well as their instability), but every alternative I've tried has let me down so hard.
Everyone asks if Die Hard is a Christmas movie, but no one thinks to ask if Christmas is a Die Hard holiday.
I feel like now's as good a time as any to repost this.

And then I was like "Whaaaaat?" and Canada was like "Yeahhhhh."
Add this to the "nobody wants to work anymore" complainers.
Bummer. For a company trying to win back customers, they sure aren't making it easy!
Is Canada Post still using Zonos? That app is pure garbage, such a terrible experience.
It might be a bit controversial to admit this to the world, but I'm a "climate-change accepter."
The term "globe-earther" cracks me up every time I hear it. It's like calling someone a "moon landing-believer" or an "anti-Trumper."
At what point do rules and mechanics become gimmicks? Does it have to be a physical object? In which case, are dice a gimmick? What about miniatures, or a battle mat?
Are not the very pen and paper themselves a gimmick?
Missing Dio more than usual this morning.

Stargazer Keep physical copies are in the mail! Apologies in advance to our US backers, shipping to the States is kind of an unfathomable nightmare right now so it could be 2-3 weeks before your books arrive.

Not only is it easy to start your own website, it's also pretty easy to set up your own online store. You don't need to rely solely on marketplaces like DTRPG or itch. Marketing is a whole other beast, but it's never a bad idea to set up your own sales platform.
Thanks! I've been using Little Rock in Calgary for small-scale stuff, but it's always nice to have more quality alternatives within Canada.
These look incredible! Are you comfortable sharing who you use for printing?
As if the music industry doesn't manufacture music like this to appeal to the lowest common denominator, and counter-culture doesn't exist in defiance of that? What are we doing here, people?
All this revisionist fluff surrounding Nickelback is making me feel genuinely insane. Like, people believe their vilification was some kind of psy-op. And everyone who has ever hated this band is part of a mindless mob... But somehow the hordes of fans filling stadiums to listen to them aren't?
Then there's a very good chance it will be my 3rd favourite cube-based movie!
Wait what
Cube is my favourite cube-based movie, and Cube 2 is my favourite hypercube-based movie.
Cube Zero is unfortunately my least favourite cube-based movie, but incidentally it's also my second favourite cube-based movie.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
I've become so self-conscious of my em-dash usage over the past year! To be honest, I think I've even cut back a bit. But I am a lot more thoughtful about its usage now, rather than just replacing half my commas with em-dashes and calling it a day.
Through playing around I just found that if you type 3 standard dashes in a row it automatically converts it to an em-dash! Or two for an en-dash.
Although typing alt-0151 is second nature so I'll probably have a hard time remember there's an easier way ๐
Just checked, it's not on Google docs.
I like it because I dislike semi-colons and overusing commas. There's a very good chance I use it incorrectly at times!
Oh that's interesting. I haven't used the Office suite in nearly a decade, so I've got alt-0151 seared into my brain!
