Happy Kyrgyzstan Constitution Day!
This ran 9 years ago today. One of my favotites.
What strange times we live in.
I’ve been practicing.
I figured out a way to avoid doing a punchline.
Miniature garbage!!!
Worst. Google translate. Ever.
I think we’re about up to this point in the Trump presidency.
I got sideswiped by an erratic driver yesterday and later saw that it had crashed head first into the Dovre Club a few blocks away. The driver attempted to flee the scene but the cops caught her. Amazingly I was able to get her insurance info. Lucky no one was seriously hurt. Had to draw it.
I did this strip almost exactly two years ago. Back in the early 80s I snuck into the Acton Screen in London, underage, to see Eraserhead. My life was never the same since. RIP David Lynch. Legend.
Zip codes weren’t introduced until 1963. Apparent in 1914, street addresses hadn’t been introduced either.
25 years worth of the comics page shrinking.
Still working on this one. There’s a LOT of signs.
SNEAK PREVIEW: It’s all in the details…. A cucaracha painting the Roacha Lisa.
I am really happy with how this came out.
Anyone spot the The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari influence on this panel today?
Here’s a scribble I did on 7th Street, SOMA in SF. More like this on my secret Instagram @lemonsketchy
Current reading.
Nothing makes this funny.
Note: Should be "Elzie".
Apathy wins again.
Here’s that dream I had where I won the Reuben award *and* the Ellie Segar award.
Fun fact.... In Latin America, Alley Oop is known as Trucutú, except in Brazil where he is Brucutú.
Alley Oop was the official emblem/insignia used by the 820th Bombardment Squadron during WWII. It was painted on the side of their planes. Someone whose grandfather was in the squadron recently asked me to recreate it, as all they had was an old patch.
Nice, expensive Felix the Cat slugger collectible “figure” in @bait.sanfrancisco. Had me thinking… at what size does a figurine become a statue?
Current mood.
