Yesterday in Vienna, the U.S. voted against a resolution condemning Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure as a threat to nuclear safety. Twenty states voted in favor, while four voted against: the United States, Russia, China, and Niger.

Iran today is backed by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Shiite militias in Iraq, Russia and Serbian far-right groups.

The rest of the world stands with the Iranian people and their right to be free from mullahs and killers.

Just like in Syria. Just like in Venezuela. Now Iran.

Anyone who still believes Russia is an ally should look carefully at what its friends actually get. Concern. And a statement.

I know that Trump feels no shame about this humiliation from Russia (it isn’t his first), but I’m interested in how intellectuals in the United States feel, thinking Americans and all those who are not part of the MAGA cult.

Where is this world going?!! The President of the United States calls one woman journalist “stupid,” another a “pig,” and says a U.S. congresswoman (of Somali origin) is “garbage,” that she contributes nothing and should go back where she came from. And? Nothing happens!

Trump calls a Ukraine “peace” deal close while ignoring Russia’s strikes. He treats Ukraine’s resistance as the problem, twisting the war into Kyiv’s “stubbornness” instead of Russian aggression. Are Ukrainians guilty for resisting Russian crimes?
