Schließlich setzt das BMZ auf ein stärkeres multilaterales System (Ziel 4), z.B. in Finanzarchitektur, Klima und Gesundheit.

Die Zusammenarbeit soll partnerschaftlicher erfolgen: respektvoll, verlässlich, stärker auf Augenhöhe. Partnerschaftlich heißt dabei aber auch, deutsche Interessen klarer zu benennen.

Der #Sahel ist eine der Regionen, in denen angesichts von Terrorismus und schwacher Staatlichkeit Frieden und Stabilität (Ziel 2) gefördert werden sollen. Im #HoA stehen neben Stabilisierung auch wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, Handel und Infrastruktur für nachhaltiges Wachstum (Ziel 3) im Fokus.

„Wir ziehen uns aus keinem Partnerland zurück“ sagte Alabali Radovan, doch es wird eine stärkere Schwerpunktsetzung geben. #Afrika bleibt Fokuskontinent der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, vor allem die Regionen #Sahel und Horn von Afrika #HoA.

Dabei sollen vor allem Kinder und Jugendliche, z.B. über Schulernährungsprogramme unterstützt werden. Von den 44 ärmsten Ländern der Welt liegen 32 auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent, darunter #Südsudan, #Somalia und die Demokratische Republik Kongo #DRC.

Mit aufstrebenden Volkswirtschaften wie Indien oder Mexiko sollen Projekte in Zukunft mittels KfW-Darlehen durchgeführt werden. Nur die ärmsten Länder der Welt #LDCs sollen durch den BMZ-Haushalt unterstützt werden, um Armut und Hunger zu bekämpfen (Ziel 1).

Vier Ziele, weniger Mittel, neue Prioritäten: Gestern präsentierte Ministerin Reem Alabali Radovan @bmz.de den BMZ-Reformplan „Zukunft zusammen global gestalten“.
