Happy to be a coauthor on this #openaccess paper. The study suggests a novel pathway linking arginine uptake to nitrosative stress via upregulation of SLC7A2 in HD pathogenesis and progression, potentially posing a greater risk to patients. 🧪

There are (have been) so many awesome aspects of the BRAIN initiative, but the most unique and therefore most vulnerable imo are: (1) providing funding to computational neuroscience and (2) training of young scientists across neuroscience subfields and techniques.

This talk was fantastic! Thank you so much for all your advice one arguably the scariest part of research - getting started on your writing!
