Hi. I’m Jim. I’m fine how are you These things are true: I’ve published lots of thriller novels and started many failed podcasts, but this channel is mostly about TTRPGs like D&D. Also my thoughts on movies and tv shows.

Rewatched two tarantino movies: Hateful 8 and Inglorious Basterds. H8 is much better than I remember. One of his best.
Basterds is still just masturbatory. When Bradd Pitt looks directly to camera to say "this might be my masterpiece" = eye roll. Yes, Quentin. We know how smart you think you are

Confession: I didnt like Inglorious Basterds when it came out. I watched it again tonight and I still don’t like it
I read The Dungeon Master and it's mostly an account of how the detective William Dear was right about everything and made no mistakes; how women wanted him and men wanted to be him.
#dndtip campaign building tip: always make sure your cities are built atop the ruins of ancient cities, to leave yourself room to introduce the "mysterious ancient civilization full of secrets" when you're out of other ideas
