The final challenge jokerless is really really tough - I just got to the seventh boss and he whipped me - #balatro - I'm still blaming @youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com for getting me back on the balatro dragon
I'm missing 7 jokers and one tag - the end is near!
Me too - getting the one where you have to play 4x7 of clubs seems really really niche
I'd managed to quit Balatro and then I saw @youngvulgarian.marieleconte.com playing it and this drew me back in - I managed to get over 100,000,000 points in one hand ๐๐๐๐๐

The views of the Cote D'Azur are an antidote to grey January in London - France, September 2024
I like a deck building one and a money building one as well - but choosing when to switch these out for more points is the trick!
Lovely photo!
And dental hygienist appointments.
And tax returns.
Taking photos of lightning is mainly an exercise in lots of black photos - but occasionally luck and timing combine and you manage to capture a strike! This was from the epic storm we "enjoyed" whilst in St-Tropez in early September 2024.
When you are dieting in January and you are also trying to edit your holiday photos from September and you come across your buffet lunch in Saint-Tropez... (and yes that's a tiny bottle of tabasco!)
It's all your fault I've started playing Balatro again - and I've just crushed the highest stake with nebula - whoop!
Also the lack of light and booze and fun of any kind - also where are the book launches and other fun activities? There is only yoga and fasting and darkness.
Looking forward to the sequel much?
It is shorter to play a round but probably slightly more addictive - there's something brutal about the constant minor decisions and the vague feeling that if only you'd have made a different decision you would have won...
When it's freezing cold and gloomy outside - it is good to look back over the summer holiday photos and remember when the sun, sea and sky looked completely different - Cassis, France, August 2024

Been told I shouldn't eat so much Haribo so I have a secret drawer in my desk at work where they now have to live. I am having an affair with Haribo.
Seemed like a good idea to come to Selfridge's
