Did you know there is a scientific journal edited by and made for kids? It is called Frontiers for Young Minds. Consider publishing with them, it is fun! With Job Speelman, we wrote a short piece on neural networks (kids.frontiersin.org/articles/10....) that you can use as an example. #AcademicSky

Twin study
Much right-wing authoritarianism (RWA)-education link (r = -.46) from heritable or shared-variance confounds
But 28% is unexplained, so education might play role in reducing RWA (but likely less so than many expect)

The point is, that the context that they awful human beings is something that should be considered when evaluating their work.
As a sociologist, a white person, and a woman- Iβm really leaning into the idea that its deeply suspicious when a group has so few women and people of color. Like, some shit I donβt want any part of is going on. Everything Iβve learned in the past year is confirming this.
Yet. No dangerous quests have been embarked upon YET.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. Itβs dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

But second, with all the "big brains" in this admin, no one can take a fucking gander at this webpage and say, "Gender is not discussed here- no need to include this deeply weird message reminding everyone how performative and deeply weird this admin is..."
First, let's pretend this is a legitimate thing for the federal government to do... nothing on this page discusses gender ideology. So, its weird that this banner is here. It's such a lazy way to do things. 3/
The Trump administration rejects gender ideology due to the harms and divisiveness it causes. This page does not reflect reality and therefore the Administration and this Department reject it." 2/
This is a print screen of a CDC webpage about sudden unexpected and infant death and sudden infant death syndrome with a statement from this administration included as a note.
This timeline is deeply weird. This is a screengrab from an official federal government website, which includes the note: "Any information on this page promoting gender ideology is extremely inaccurate and disconnected from truth... 1/
Hey all, any suggestions for researchers who are really well-versed in the methodological issues with Wakefield's autism studies? I'm looking for someone to interview for an upcoming article. Re-posts for visibility appreciated!

Oh. I hate that.
Meta-analysis shows student ranks based on achievement test scores are relatively stable over time whereas those based on school grades are not. Overall, this suggests placement decisions based on these measures should be reassessed at least every 1-2 years. #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky #EduSky
Thanks. I hate it.
