Der Artenschutz beim Bauen kommt nicht nur über Symptombekämpfung wie Nistkästen und Ähnliches. Die sind Wichtig - Der eigentliche Hebel sind z.B. Zirkularität, Raw Material Input (RMI), Total Material Requirement, (TMR). Damit in der Natur nicht immer mehr Lebensraum geraubt und vollgemüllt wird.
I usually avoid but sometimes look at what construction influencers in the US find exciting/are being paid for. The first thing I saw was a non-deconstructable wall sandwich made of magnesium panels, EPS, and polyurethane foam glued to a steel frame.

Many (all?) companies (and people!) want lower energy costs. But a lot of companies have long-term multi-billion euro investment plans that depend, in part, on the ETS for justification. Messing with ETS would crater the ROI for billions of euro of investments that have already been done.
