I try not to start discourse but I have seen some frustrating trends across many fandoms, so:

One of the main tenets of old fandom is ship and let ship. It's okay to not like ships, or to be squicked by them. It is on YOU to mute, block, and scroll past. It's not cool to be shitty on those posts.

Oh this wasn't meant as a slight against Fdev or any of their games, but I have a couple thousand hours in E:D and have been playing for over a decade so it sorta eclipses the rest of their portfolio in my mind
