I post fairly regularly about how pretty this station is, but honestly the significance of the bus connection is really underrated. There are so many places that are accessible with just one non-downtown transfer now for me as a Green Line rider.

I spent hours searching for a particular set of footwear in my unusual size on major aggregators and international distributors (with many saying it straight up wasn’t even made), then lo and behold a shop in the Town with World’s Largest Walleye happened to have multiple.

I am thankful for Minnesotans on a pretty regular basis (and especially in the current political moment), but today I’m thankful for small-town MN businesses somehow carrying and/or making items that multinational corporations and websites somehow can’t.
