A lot of what is described on this site as a "war crime" might well not be. These laws, after all, were created by states, which gave themselves a lot of room for maneuver.
Attacks on desalination plants doesn't strike me as a difficult case. It is pretty clearly a war crime.

Remember like a decade ago when people made fun of the "gendering glacier science" paper, but the basic point of the paper was just that discoveries in glacier science we often held back by a stubborn belief that real science must involve hiking up the glacier in a masculine fashion

Pete Hegseth's murderous buffoonery, coming amid a lifetime in which he's betrayed everyone close to him and failed up from one disaster to the next, is a perfect example of how the appeal of Trumpism is that it creates a permission structure for people to openly be their worst selves

In those subsequent interviews, the woman described how Epstein trafficked her to several men, including Trump, in the 1980s.
She was interviewed again by the FBI on Aug. 7, 2019, Aug. 20, 2019 and Oct. 16, 2019.
In her second interview, she claimed that Epstein either flew or drove her from South Carolina to New York or New Jersey when she was between 13 and 15 years old. "She was introduced to someone with money, money...it was Donald Trump," the FBI report said.
She recalled she was in a "very tall building with huge rooms" when she met Trump, whom she said immediately didn't like her because she was a "boy-gir!" - or tomboy.
She claimed she was with Epstein and several other people who left her alone in the room with Trump.
"Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be," she recalled Trump saying, according to the FBI report.
She said he unzipped his pants and forced her head to his penis. She said she immediately bit him and Trump struck her, the report said. She told the FBI agents that she bit him because he "disgusted" her.
In her third interview, she told agents she wanted to clarify how Trump reacted to her biting him, explaining that Trump "pulled her hair and punched her on the side of the head."
βA DOJ source told the Miami Herald that agents found her to be credible β and that they would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying.β

1. Cite the books
2. Encourage your listeners to read past the information you gave them

WAR CRIME BY THE US.
An unarmed Iranian ship was takIng part in an Indian naval exercise, alongside the US.
The US withdrew and torpedoed the Iranian ship.
THEN the US refused to rescue the sailors, letting them drown.
This is treachery, cowardice, cruelty and a war crime of the highest order.
