Donald Trump has once again misled the American people.
He campaigned on lowering costs, raising our wages, and no new wars.
We need a vote on the Khanna-Massie War Powers Resolution to stop Trump’s reckless war on Iran.
The House Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution isn’t just a vote on paper; it’s about upholding the Constitution and ensuring Congress, not one person, decides whether the U.S. goes to war.
If we’re serious about preventing another blank check for war, this resolution has to pass.
We have a strong presence of former military in Northern Nevada.
We also have veterans in rural Northern Nevada driving hours for specialty care because services aren’t evenly distributed.
Supporting our veterans means access must not depend on where they live.
The House failed to defend Congress’s constitutional responsibility over decisions about war. That failure shows too many Republicans are more concerned with appeasing the White House than defending the Constitution. Americans deserve better when it comes to decisions that could lead us into war.
