Had to join in on the mirabilis hype train. I’ve been aiming to come up with a spinosaurus composition for a while, and this was a good excuse to finally commit. Including some process steps in the thread! #paleosky #spinosaurusmirabilis #dinosaurart

A small rocky stream flowing down from the mountains at sunset and bordered by forest with various animals staring one another down. On the left is an Ankylosaurus noticing and being noticed by a Borealosuchus half submerged in the water below a small cascade. On the fight is a herd of Triceratops of mixed ages approaching the stream noticing and being noticed by a Tyrannosaurus family on the other bank. Each group has two adults and a juvenile. The juvenile Tyrannosaurus is based primarily on the proportions of juvenile Tarbosaurus to avoid confusion with Nanotyrannus. There are various birds in the sky flying off both sides of the frame symbolizing that they will make it out of the Cretaceous as the last surviving lineage of dinosaurs.
