Six years ago today I finished this coloured pencil portrait! It was my first attempt at a colour portrait and I chose it specifically to cheat as most of the face was behind the visor!
It was probably my most famous portrait over on Twitter thanks to a share from Luke Skywalker himself!

My Young Apprentice started reading The Hobbit this week and we also watched The Fellowship of the Ring.
Today, we came down to find he had drawn Gandalf (although it does look a bit like Clone Wars Count Dooku).
I love watching his progress, he's come a long way already!
8 years ago today, with the arrival of My Young Apprentice on the horizon, i completed this pencil drawing!
