Forgot Ian McKellen is in #LastActionHero. It's not even 5 minutes of screen time, but he oozes charisma~
@new-tradition
PSN: new_tradition I like watching anime, tv shows, movies (I lean towards media where characters yell at each other). I play video games on occasion and my backlog is atrocious. I enjoy cooking and baking. Novice wine-o.

I read this mist is what happens when the ground is colder than the air. We saw 10ยฐC today in my parts, but we still had plenty of snow on the ground. Kind of neat c:
Completely forgot Daylight Savings Time ends today. Sayonera my 1 hour of sleep ๐
I've been in the middle of watching #WhatWeDoInTheShadows and I had no idea they filmed in my area! There's even an episode where they filmed in my local mall! I feel so seen lmao
I don't play RE, but always happy to see Leon ๐
Imo balances things. Overall I enjoyed the game, and will keep in eye out for a decent sale on "True Color"
But it adds flavor. I'm just a boring square who doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs beyond ibuprofen ๐
Anyways, the start lands an emotional gut bunch within the first 30 minutes, and it just keeps going. There definitely a lot of convenient lucky breaks but there's suitable devastation which
But the core relationship is between the two brothers. I actually really appreciated their dynamics and how it changed through out the game, and there will be differences here and there depending on choices made
Like the first game, I do feel a bit of disconnect with the youth culture on display
Younger brother Daniel's ideology and even personality to some extent. I'm not saying this is a child raising sim, but... It's basically a child raising aim, lol
No, for real, there's a narrative with many events that can change (usually the result of characters dying or not) and loads of drama
"Redemption" endings.
Having played the first Life is Strange game a long while ago, I had an expectation that there wouldn't be one truly good ending. I will say, compared to the first game, the choices and consequences were much more personal.
You play as Sean who will be able to mold his
I literally can not remember when I've bought the majority of the games I own digitally (even physical games have become rather murky in my memories too).
But I recently cleared #LifeisStrange2 for the first time. Without getting into spoilers, I aimed for the "Parting Ways" and consequently also

Gameplay wise, I appreciated that it wasn't super hard. It was pretty forgiving regardless of what abilities you chose. I had more trouble finding collectables (still haven't found all the Yaoi Pics, lol)
But yeah, funny and still pretty crass. If you like South Park, you'll probably like it ๐
That said, FbH came out in 2017, and it's 2026, so I'm not expecting it (but it would be so rad~).
I'm trying to think of other properties where you can drop in a player character into an existing world and making it work. I'm sure it's possible, but I think South Park is a very good blueprint.
I can't remember when I actually played Stick of Truth, but I finally got around to playing Fractured But Hole (and yes, it took me way too long to understand the pun ๐
)
I honestly really enjoyed it as a game, let alone as an unofficial South Park story. I'm so ready for a third game about New Kid
When it first started airing, I felt like it was way too crass and didn't understand the appeal, but years later, I get why people like #SouthPark, haha
I'm definitely behind on the series now (lost track after the covid specials, so I don't know where it is now), but I did end up buy the RPG games

I did this around 2am and thought it was rizzy as hell. I'm doubting myself now ๐

Yesssssss, I know how I'm spending my Friday night

But I did remember I saved some footage, so here's my super sloppy efforts against a certain Summon you can acquire. I honestly can't remember most of the attacks and the logic associated with them or why I chose what I did, but here it is for posterity and my ego ๐ซฃ
I still haven't cleared FF7 Rebirth. I spent years saving up for a PS5 to finally buy it and got FF7 Rebirth back in 2024, but I was overwhelmed by all the side content...and I only liked maybe half of the stuff, lol.
I will definitely clear the main story one day, just...not yet
... And I just found out there's going to be a second game coming out :D
The 3DS version, though I'd like to get the Switch one in the future ๐
Not like I was in the middle of playing the Yakuza games recently, but I haven't played 4 and up yet. I kind of want want to hold off now if they're doing Kiwami versions of 4 and 5 in the future... ๐ค
There's not much I want to say. It's not overly long, but doesn't feel super short either. Music is really nice and relaxing. There's some fantastical elements and arguably questions left unanswered, but it's not super plot heavy.
I think it's worth checking out ๐
#Toem was on sale on PSN, so rather than tackling a game I bought years ago, I opted for a low key, chill sort of game.
And it is soooo chill. Low stakes, no battling, you wonder around taking pictures in a small, localized and sometimes bizarre world, but doesn't require any sort of explanation
Toem cleared for the first time on January 21, 2026
Uncanny. I got Fantasy Life for 3DS when it came out, put some hours into before playing something else. I literally started playing it again last week ๐คญ
