📕 Review: A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston

A literature professor finds herself magically transported to the town of her favourite romance novel series.

The FMC is hapless and makes bad choices. Too many mentions of “minty eyes”.

Despite this: I 💕 grumpy x sunshine, & found family

Part Of Your World by Abby Jimenez

Big city doctor meets a hot small town carpenter. I felt like this tackled some nuanced topics very gracefully (familial expectations, emotional abuse). My one gripe is that the FMC kept calling the MMC a KID when he was 27, BFFR.

Overall: CUTE

How far will you go to satisfy your “hunger”. A unique and dark collection of short stories that I found deeply fascinating, and occasionally upsetting.
