The ignorance I would seize to gain personal bliss would be astounding

Only talk to me about Katabasis if you'd had your haterade this morning

I actually did a podcast about Witches in college for a history course. My favorite are butter witches that turn into small critters and sneak into farms to siphon crops and animals of productivity. It's no time compression but it's still cool

I failed to do a post for every book I read this year as I planned so here's my wrap up from Story Graph! Book of the year unquestionably is Martyr! but absolutely everything I read by Buehlman holds a special place in my heart.

You know what, I'll say Final Fantasy 8. It's my favorite one but there is no way I'm touching anything even vaguely time travel related as a writer

It was kinda rough in BG3 since I'm the same way but honestly the performances of the car are worth it, especially for Minthara.

That makes sense too. I did the whole ff14 msq so that's not a deal breaker but the quality has to be good enough. Appreciate the input!

Interesting, I'll pick it up on steam next time it goes on sale, I've been meaning to play them anyway. I wonder if FF14 would ever do a collab

I literally have only played the first one, I always hear people talk about the story but never the gameplay. Is kh2 that much better gameplay wise?

Tons of fun resources online but my favorite is The Story Graph. You can track your books, there's giveaways, challenges, readalongs, and it's not owned by Amazon as a nice plus.

As for justification I think you could definitely roleplay it a ton of different ways, "desperate times" etc. and still call yourself good but I think siding with Orpheus is "better" perhaps

He's definitely self serving and willing to go through evil means to reach his goals, he's also not against the grand design he just isn't sure if he could win a war with the githyanki so declines to control the brain unless you persuade him. I think I'd definitely call him evil but less than others

Grok and consistently scores own-goals I have to assume it's just rage bait or engagement farming, same with how the community notes is always highlighting this bologna. But yes fully agree, imagine having all wealth imaginable and still not having a single redeeming trait

It was really good! You did a good job reading it for the audio book! I feel like I need a third point to wrap up this skeet!

Oh man not the Ghibli style AI retort. How much money do you want to bet he came up with this witty reply while crying in the shower

Super fun game by the way especially if you can get a group to play consistently. It's even on Tabletop Simulator!

Stoked to see how daggerheart looks in action!

Oh shit I didn't know you wrote a book. Definitely going to pick it up, I've just started reading horror type books this year with Buehlman's stuff.

The Book to Bookshelf ratio is an eternal struggle

This is why you just pick the most unhinged passages

Ezekiel 23:20 etc.

This might be the most depressing thing I've ever read. I checked it out yesterday on Libby and listened to it straight through. 5/5 for sure

I definitely enjoyed it and I have a few friends with similar thoughts as yours. It feels almost like WoK was all set up for book two in the series so I might jump in to that in a few days after I read a few short palate cleansers

Just finished this monster of a book. Still mulling it all over to determine if I want to continue the series but that's mostly due to the length and not quality. The world building and magic system are easy standouts but the plot speed and safe character decisions require some digestion.

Man they love to do absolutely nothing and then write a book about how grim the situation is. Please save democracy then I will gladly buy your book

I grew up in a state with it and that only made me angrier to do it as an adult. It serves no purpose!

Couldn't disagree more. This hasn't been working and it doesn't help Democrats or harm Republican candidates. The key is messaging which Dems are terrible at. Show HOW and WHY left policies are beneficial. Stop reaching across the aisle for a group that won't do it in turn

Smart enough to recognize the trap, however am also dumb enough to be drawn to the sound of monster energy and creed (presumably).
