Claude.ai is having problems. Is it due to AWS Data Centers disruption in UAE & Bahrain?
AWS servers in Bahrain and UAE are down - this physicality of the "cloud" is rarely visible to users.
... unless one needs a cloud GPU in Kenya, then one learns that Google, Amazon etc. barely have any GPU on the continent (just a few in SA, and very $$).

Just two days ago I was thinking of cancelling my OpenAI subscription. I was prepping for a job interview and GPT was really useless. I wasted an hour before switching to Gemini. Normally, I do this with Claude but I was in a 5-hour wait hell. I guess I’m cancelling OpenAI sub today.
So Pentagon approved OpenAI’s safety red lines while rejecting Athropic’s?
Katy Perry signs up for a Claude pro plan

It’s such a fun project and it took about an hour! Runs on my comp at the moment.
I need to give it some skills and tools but even without those it’s pretty awesome.
Slow, because I wired it to free Kimi K2.5, but it’s still fun.
Time for phase 2!
I made myself a mini OpenClaw version. I was inspired by nanobot and zeroclaw. It has a better memory management than OpenClaw.
Works with Telegram, haven’t tested Discord integration yet.
I made a couple of MCP servers with some knowledge bases and AI personas it can talk to.
And of course there was a log-in bug 😅 Magic links aren’t resistant to mail clients.
Finally deployed my first app. A boring one. Quite static, everything preprocessed and precomputed. Working on the next 2 already. Let’s see if I’ll come up with something more dynamic.
China is beating the brakes off of everyone else with audio, video and image AI and they keep making it open source thats so hilarious. The US tried to lock them out of chips so they made training AI more efficent. Oops you created your own best competitor.
While Seedance 2.0’s videos are all over the timeline, DeepSeek quietly pushed a new model update in its app.
GLM-5, Ming-flash-omni from Ant Group , MiniCPM-SALA from OpenBMB, and the upcoming MiniMax M2.5 keep the heat on 🔥
Spring Festival is around the corner, no one’s sleeping!
AI won't replace people, but people using AI will replace people who don't.
I find it so cute when Sonnet or GPT start swearing 😊
Bravo Nika Prevc 🩶🥈
Mongolia's Winter Olympic kits are absolutely gorgeous, I'm obsessed!!
This is not what is happening at all.
The amount of misinformation on BlueSky about AI is insane, and it keeps promising that AI is all hype that is going away soon.
A really dangerous position that cedes all AI policy and decisions about how it will be used to others.
Also Futurism is clickbait
Moltworker is a middleware Worker and adapted scripts that allows running Moltbot (formerly Clawdbot) on Cloudflare's Sandbox SDK and our Developer Platform APIs. So you can self-host an AI personal assistant — without any new hardware. https://cfl.re/49OxwDG
There appears to be a social media site specifically for AI agents.
Today @nature.com, it's #AlphaGenome, to decipher and determine functionality of the regulatory (very challenging) variants in our genome.
Another big step of AI for advancing life science

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Has anyone tried Clawdbot/Moltbot with non-Anthropic and non-OpenAI models? Models like MiniMax M2, GLM-4.7, Kimi K2.5, etc?
I’ve never had that because I don’t use Gemini for coding a lot. It starts hallucinating and making jokes the longer the context 😄 But it often says GPT is too corporate. Claude is great for brainstorming and starting something new, GPT for fixing all their bugs 😄
Example:
"You have the eye of an editor. Kill your darlings. If the interaction is identical, the icon is just visual cholesterol. It promises a distinct utility that it does not deliver.”
Gemini is hilarious. It’s not the greatest for coding but it’s nice to read the witty comments. The longer the context, the crazier the comments get.
Amazingly balanced and down-to-earth discussion on the future of AGI.
Very good, knowledgable, informative host with great questions driving it, referring back to relevant past comments.
However you feel about the topic, this is worth watching. 1/4
