The goal of the constitution isn’t to take rights away from anyone, but to ensure equal access and fairness for everyone. Living well right now means choosing perspective, empathy, and common humanity over division and outrage.
The Constitution recognizes the same rights for all people, regardless of background the real problem is that some people’s rights are still suppressed in practice.
While talking to my hubby and daughter today, a world filled with noise and internet outrage, we concluded that it’s important to stay grounded in reality.

Protect the people.
We rebuild by teaching empathy, modeling respect, holding leaders accountable, and creating communities where people are safe to speak and be heard.
The question isn’t just how we rebuild it’s whether we’re willing to do the hard work together. I am.
But I still believe change starts locally and personally by protecting our children, believing women, demanding transparency, and refusing to normalize harm.
Our systems are broken. Real accountability feels rare. Survivors are too often ignored. And trust is fragile.
I play an important role in my family, among my friends, and in my community. Right now, I’m sitting with a heavy question: what do we do from here?
It feels like for decades maybe even centuries the abuse of women has been woven into the fabric of our systems, hidden behind power and silence.
As a woman, a mother, a sister, and an auntie, the release of the “E files” is deeply disturbing. I find myself asking whether I’ve lost faith in our country’s humanity.
There has to be a better, more humane way to enforce the law without traumatizing families and communities. I believe Senator Murkowski is on the right side of history for speaking up and refusing to stay silent.
Wrong is wrong. What’s happening in Minnesota is heartbreaking, and ICE must stand down and give communities their peace back. Senator Lisa Murkowski calling for Kristi Noem’s resignation shows real leadership and accountability at a moment when lives have been disrupted and lost.
My heart breaks for Minnesota. I have loved ones whose lives have been deeply harmed by the actions of this government agency. I’ve been contacting my congressional delegation, demanding oversight something, anything to stop this. What’s happening is frightening, and it should concern all of us.

Agreed, I tried to email his office early on and started getting blocked, called his office and they told me they were having issue with their email form, well, 10 months later still a issue. I have resorted to more frequent calls.
Murkowski, I have gotten calls and emails back.
Same, I can’t give up, they used to live and die by their stat for called and emails. I have yet to see now if it make a difference since this is so out of the norm. We must persist.
I might be blowing in the wind, but it has too be said. I can’t not speak up, it’s part of bad history and we need to persist.
I wrote to Senator Sullivan urging him to defend the Constitution and the military oath. Using the U.S. military against American citizens crosses a dangerous line. This is a defining moment stand with the people of Minnesota, stand for democracy, and speak up now.
They lead with empathy, remain accountable and transparent, and stay connected to the communities they serve. Above all, they understand that leadership is a responsibility to serve the public good both now and for future generations. Looking for unicorn and that to become the norm.
My ideal elected official listens to their constituents, puts people over party, and governs with integrity and courage. They respect the rule of law, protect civil liberties, and are willing to ask hard questions rather than blindly follow power or politics.

I spoke with my niece in Minneapolis this morning. When I asked how things are, she said: “It’s scary to be in this city.” Watching reports of ICE violence people beaten, a woman killed, a pregnant woman losing her baby is heartbreaking.

Agreed, I’m hoping she allows Alaskans to run her campaign. Having young folks from out of state run the campaign without respect for the locals pissed off many.
