Aye, me too! It was on this road I had that gut-check moment; the realization I’m not 25 any more, and if things went sideways, I was in over my head.

So instead of heading on to the falls, I took this shot, turned tail, and low-geared it home 🏠

Oh, Revelstoke itself is lovely; it’s quite built-up now with ski hill money.

This particular logging road is about 20km south of town, and another 20ish up around the bends… no cell service down there, but when you go up old logging roads, you’re kinda on your own. It’s a sport for the young!
