RORΞ³t-expressing DCs can activate naive T cells and have pro-inflammatory features in autoimmune inflammation. But these cells can also induce T cell tolerance highlighting their therapeutic potential in autoimmunity and cancer.
Excited to teach about dendritic cell biology at the 20th DGfI Spring School on Immunology in Ettal and to share our recent work on a unique type of RORΞ³t-expressing dendritic cells. (Photo: Lutz Kettner)
Thank you Katha. Truly a lot of work. Grateful for your support.
Excited to share our recent work. We show that dendritic cells that express RORΞ³t are a distinct lineage of DCs with wide tissue distribution and functions ranging from inducing T cell tolerance to T cell activation. Great lead work from PhD student @hamswann.bsky.social www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...
