A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by nameโciting facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.
Hey folks, I've transitioned to a new role this year! I am now at Dartmouth college working as the new Health Sciences Librarian and Medical Education lead over in their MedLib. I'm excited to join a new side of librarianship, hello #medlib!

A girl reading texts on her phone while walking through her college campus. All around her people are running because they are being attacked by squirrels. She doesnโt notice. Her friend is saying, reunion tonight! Bring snacks! O.m.g. Tiffany is freaking out for some reason. A squirrel shouts, โFly, my brothers! To the dining hall!โ The text reads: Oh no! You were on your phone and unprepared for the squirrel uprising! Put your phone away! Distracted walking sends people to the ER every year.

creative person, one who took poetry classes (and almost failed statistics) in college, then chose writing as my career.
I stumbled across this little self defining statement from an author. Makes me wonder, was that near statistics course failure actually a reflection on them? Or actually on the way a course was taught? Were challenging data concepts scaffolded? Were assignments meaningful?
