Yeah, it's HO; at least *someone* remembers the CCC&StL.
Saving this just so I can have a scheme for decals (in about 5 years).๐คฆ

If you're aiming for small, maybe you could build a variation of Inglenook, to integrate into your yard?

Sorry about the lack of slightly scuffed, low light locomotive photos this week, I was covering afternoons and I've been wiped out from working on my house.
Your regularly scheduled murky motive power posting will resume this weekend.
...so far.
That clown is requesting another $100 billion for Iran. It's not going to be over, any time soon.
Alright, I get it, that "no one clicks through" to Instagram, but this one, I think, is worth it: A test of Sir Nigel Gresley, on a real-life rolling road.

One of the greatest machines for snow, ever! It can clear drifts taller than it is and throw it 100's of feet!
I cleared a huge hurdle yesterday, that's been weighing on me for several months. Still didn't sleep well, but almost felt like working on model trains last night, for the first time in quite a while.๐ฎโ๐จ
Still have another one coming up at the end of the month.๐
I hope it goes as well as yesterday...
Good grief! Estimated tolls on the I-69 bridge over the Ohio River seem a bit steep: $3.14 for cars; $18.62 for heavy trucks. (And didn't we stop making pennies?)
We're not New York, over here.๐คฆ

How about you park that Sears car in front of your Sears house, with your Sears train set, inside!
(The downfall of Sears in the face of Amazon, is probably something that should be studied in business schools. They were a better Amazon than Amazon.)

Bananas.
Literally and figuratively.
My grandpa told me a story yesterday about how the Perry crew used to intentionally take this Whitcomb because it had overheating problems, so by the time they made it to Perry it would be overheated and they would get an extra hour to have a coffee and play some checkers while it cooled down
New 'Ride the D' Metro shirts sold out almost immediately. Because of course they did
"The 'Terminal' was an interesting operation that from overhead looked just like a giant model railroad. It made a complete oval. You could actually start from point A and head west and return to point A coming back in from the east."

The Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad was just out there ensuring that non-prototypical, toy train, loops popped up everywhere.

Standing proudly since 1849, the Willard Carpenter House is one of Evansvilleโs most fascinating historic houses. Built for philanthropist and abolitionist Willard Carpenter, the home has been connected to local stories of courage and compassion.

Yeah. That looks like a slot car version, except for that trolley bus.
I can't find the (finished) one I was looking for, here's a development version.

Faller's Car System is crazy!
There's a guy on YouTube that adapted it to run a functional ferry, hauling a bus from one area to another, and back. I'll see if I can find it, again....
I was thinking I should look that up, again.
It's probably been 15 years.
