ICYMI, an investigation by @sheilawang.bsky.social, me and @icij.org has found more than 30 unauthorized crypto-to-cash shops on Yonge Street in the Greater Toronto Area, openly flouting the law.

We also found alleged links to Iran-backed terror groups.

Thought I would have gotten used to it by now, but I’m still grappling with the realization of just how stupid the men running this country are.

β€˜Bing’s Cherries’ rewrites the American tall tale through Oregon grower’s life β€œBing’s Cherries,” written and illustrated by Taiwanese American authors Livia Blackburne and Julia Kuo, is set for publication on March 10.

Many Americans have heard tales of folk legends Johnny Appleseed and Paul Bunyan. Now, with the publishing of a new book this week, people will also learn of Ah Bing, a larger-than-life horticulturalist who immigrated to Oregon and has a cherry named after him.

Moose rests on a brown sofa, his chin tucked on a rawhide bone and the flap of one lip squished up by the couch cushion. he has one front paw extended out, and the other tucked into his body like a little chicken wing. he’s looking up a bit, showing a little sliver of the whites of his already-enormous eyes, making them look even bigger under his cutely furrowed eyebrows.

the big-eyed brown pup as a puppy. he’s sitting in a white bathtub, slightly damp. he’s mostly in shadow, but his eyes are like two glowing orbs in the center of his face, almost human in their coloring and shape.

This is Moose. He has very big eyes. They are the result of a rare and painless ocular condition. Doesn't seem to mind it. Makes his puppy dog face even more powerful. 13/10 (credit u/aGooseyMoose)

The only Dems β€œin a bind” about funding this war are ones beholden to AIPAC like Moskowitz β€” why is @cnn.com centering them in their chyron?

Cutting offπŸ’°for a bad war isn’t abandoning the troops, it’s supporting them. Stop using missile makers’ lines

Dems overwhelmingly oppose this

it's impossible to overstate how much the presence of cops escalates a situation in which someone is confused and scared. most of these people didn't pick up a weapon until police entered their home and threatened them. often family members tried to shield them. they were usually dead in under 2 min

We are aware of recent reports regarding targeted phishing attacks that have resulted in account takeovers of some Signal users, including government officials and journalists. We take this very seriously. 1/7

09.03.2026 16:12 πŸ‘ 1144 πŸ” 620 πŸ’¬ 16 πŸ“Œ 81

To be clear: Signal’s encryption and infrastructure have not been compromised and remain robust. These attacks were executed via sophisticated phishing campaigns, designed to trick users into sharing information – SMS codes and/or Signal PIN – to gain access to users’ accounts. 2/7

09.03.2026 16:12 πŸ‘ 439 πŸ” 108 πŸ’¬ 5 πŸ“Œ 9

These attacks, like all phishing, rely on social engineering. Attackers impersonate trusted contacts or services (such as the non-existent β€œSignal Support Bot”) to trick victims into handing over their login credentials or other information. 3/7

09.03.2026 16:12 πŸ‘ 398 πŸ” 122 πŸ’¬ 8 πŸ“Œ 14
Post image

To help prevent this, remember that your Signal SMS verification code is only ever needed when you are first signing up for the Signal app. To protect people from such phishing, Signal actively warns users against sharing their SMS code and PIN. 4/7

09.03.2026 16:12 πŸ‘ 292 πŸ” 61 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

We also want to emphasize that Signal Support will *never* initiate contact via in-app messages, SMS, or social media to ask for your verification code or PIN. If anyone asks for any Signal related code, it is a scam. We make this clear when users receive their SMS code during initial signup. 5/7
