I have more followers on Twitter than here, yet now I barely get views on my art on Twitter, let alone likes or comments.
And it's the same art.

Just by commenting what you like about the art, and retweeting/re-blueskying the artists' post, that it's already a great help that we appreciate! 💕💖

People complain very often about good indie comics not existing anymore, but when one tries to start a comic & ask for support, there's none!
And I'm not talking just about money
But about reposting, commenting, liking it
so the algorithm on socials can give it visibility.

And I also found out that many CEOs in the animation industry have either sexually harassed their female animator employees, or were p3dophil3s/groomers who blacklisted anyone who wanted to talk about their atrocities. 😱

It's a long story, but in a nutshell
She was abused by his boss, who was a very important person in the animation industry at that time. And later she discovered he was a p3dophil3 who was asking minor for unappropiate photos of them. So to prevent her from calling him out, he blacklisted her

It's natural curiosity. That's why studios/publishers should give themselves the chance to experiment with characters.
I've seen by self-experience, that when a character it's build up and developed with love and care, it will win people's hearts. Regardless of their gender.

I'll never get why the magazine folks thought boys wouldn't read a comic with a girl main character if, au contraire, they'd have read it more because they'd have a crush on the girl 🤭
All my favorite show/movies/comics are my favorite in great part cos I have a crush on a character from there 😌

when people say 'I cant even draw a stick figure' they are just trying to make small talk. they aren't really interested in drawing

When I started my career as an online indie artist and I met people who said that, I used to offer help with drawing, cos I thought they really wanted to learn😳
With time realized people just were trying to make conversation and they weren't interested on art, and that's ok.
