Male and female Green Jay’s look alike but we can tell this Jay comes from the south because of its bright yellow belly. “The Green Jay (Cyanocorax yncas) is a colorful, social bird from the crow family, known for its bright green, yellow, and blue plumage with a black and blue head, found from southern Texas through Central America and into South America.” Our Jay is seen in full profile, facing to our left. They’ve landed on the end small vertical branch and look ready to fly off!

among trees looking out onto water with a clear mirror surface, and evergreen forest on the other side of the water
i went on a hike today and it was beautiful. the ray tracing and volumetric lighting were incredible
i love all these imperfections and flaws that make this mini-movie feel so real. this article explains some of the tricks used (the mountain logo scene!) - breathing new life into these old methods.
