If medical authorities have a rigorous way of distinguishing effeminate boys from transgender kids—or of distinguishing transgender kids from proto-gay kids—they aren’t saying. I have met a number of detransitioned gay men who tried to live as women for a time because they and their families were so averse to homosexuality. According to a 2019 report in The Times of London, staffers at Britain’s foremost gender-identity clinic joked darkly that, as a result of the facility’s work, “there would be no gay people left.” A statement last month by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons noted that there is no validated way to assess whether a child’s gender distress will persist over time or disappear without medical intervention. A lack of good research and recordkeeping means that we may never know how many patients who would have been considered effeminate gay boys not so long ago have undergone medical treatments for gender dysphoria.
Absolute trash. The author did not speak to a single medical professional and the article does not contain a shred of evidence that effeminate gay boys are being bamboozled into thinking they're trans.

Yesterday, The Sheriffs, MPD and law enforcement brutally put down a peaceful anti-ICE protest outside of the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis.
There has been little to no coverage of what is happening in Minneapolis since Trump's supposed stand down, which is why we need to spread the word.
I received this book, a total waste for them because:
1) An El Cerrito city councilmember has no power over SMART
Train, and
2) I immediately recycled it since it looked so vile that I didn’t want to put it in a book box and spread its lies about transit and taxation.

A Nextdoor post from a neighbor in the St Francis/Ponderosa Drive Neighborhood that reads: "I'm going to say something plainly because this has become a pattern. At public meetings, Councilmember Janis Cader-Thompson has too often responded to disagreement not with argument, but with accusation. This "Historic Advocate" on Nextdoor conveniently forgot their anti-Jewish attack against a council member, having depicted her as a witch with a very long hooked-nose. There is a uniquely virulent history of anti-Jewish hatred in Petaluma, that any serious advocate for local history understands.
After well over 100 written comments plus many speakers over two meeting, the public overwhelmingly wants the police to use other tools besides faulty networked mass surveillance systems run by a hateful CEO.
