This is great but could never work in the UK - even smaller towns are too cramped, too pokey
14 new stations opening on Montreal's REM line. Let this be yet another reminder that large-scale infrastructure can still be built in this day and age, at least in some cities.

What's happening here at Cardiff shows that the UK university sector is built on a house of cards - I am reminded now of Jerry Lundegaard's false assurances in Fargo (1996) that 'we run a pretty tight ship here!' when of course it's the opposite.
