update: I can finally use my printer and all it took was a 30 minute sidequest and resetting the wifi router. As god intended.

I delete the printer app and get the fucking router app needed to enable WPS- to fit this I have to also delete google drive. I try to connect to the router following the instructions. It does not work. I try again. It is still not working. I go to the website. They have an AI assistant.

Canon has an app you can use in this scenario. I download the app. I have a very old dying phone with no space so I delete instagram to make space for the printer app. I follow the instructions. The app does not work. I look up solutions. Canon advice says to try connect it to your wifi through WPS.

I got a printer. The printer is wireless. It connects to your device via wifi WPS. Then we get a new router- now, I have to print something out for tomorrow, but forgot to connect it to the new router. I go to enable WPS. Theres no button. They have removed the WPS button from the router.

I've only played a little bit of pathfinder (2e) but the whole 3 action system is nice. It's just a good solid action economy that gives you more to do and invites experimenting with more risk and strategy.

It was one combat and took like 7 hours. I got a turn every hour and didn't do much because I was just the fighter, and while all the spellcasters kept slinging counterspell bullshit I mixed soft drinks in the kitchen. That was the moment I realized Dungeons and Dragons was bad.

So when I was like 15 I was in this big 5e campaign (it wasn't very good), and I was playing a champion fighter (the most boring class in the game) For the finale the GM thought it'd be a great idea get both his groups together for a massive crossover finale, which was like 12 people. Awful.

failure should ofc be in tactical systems but it just feels sooo bad here. Even 4e had it so most dailies still did something if you whiffed the roll, and Lancer has two action turns (and no heavy focus on consumables) to even out the bummer vibes.

Something thats stuck out to me revisiting 5e is how much of a bummer turns can be. One action, no redos, any attempts consume resources like spell slots, the d20 curve, it just kind of sucks when your thing doesn't work. It's like stubbing your toe and discourages using your coolest abilities.
