Should these customers arrive at the office without an appointment you are to make certain to get them processed as soon as possible, getting them in and out of the office. For your ISSUANCE NOTE please include the following information: "Subject"=REISSUED PER SB 244 "Note"=GENDER CHANGED FROM MALE TO FEMALE (or whatever the situation) - Along with regular credential issuance notes
Little scoop before publishing a full story on the situation later — I've obtained the email sent to all Kansas DMV employees by Kent Selk, Driver Services Manager for the Kansas Department of Revenue on how to handle the compulsory gender marker change for trans people.

Agents don’t just impersonate local law enforcement, they also disguise themselves as members of other local and federal agencies. While the practice is technically legal under federal law, many immigration experts feel it’s unclear if this allowance means that ICE agents can pretend to be local officers. ICE agents are allowed to use ruses to gain access to immigrants but there’s still some uncertainty over whether or not agents are allowed to impersonate local law enforcement. According to their training, while they cannot state that they are with a specific local police force, they are allowed to identify themselves as “police” – which, of course, might lead suspects to believe they are with the NYPD – or “federal officers.”
New— A Columbia source tells me internally they’ve been told DHS officers presented themselves as “police,” but not NYPD specifically, which has obviously created public confusion.
