The arc of the last decades has been pretty wild. First everyone was told that because all the manufacturing was moving to Asia, they needed to get higher education to be part of a white collar work force. People did. They indebted themselves to unsustainable levels to do it.

The atmospheric pressure change at higher altitudes is compensated. No "offset" but calculation accordingly to sensor element manufacturer's recommended formula. Compensation calculation is programmed in the firmware. Regarding altitude - sensor can be used without limitations up to 4000 m
