โThe essential result of this paper isnโt how fast weโre warming, but that warming is now happening faster than before and that the difference isnโt negligible.โ

The Gambia Daily newspaper published an article about a solar project funded by EKOenergy.
On the occasion of the opening of a solar-powered food processing and cool storage facility.
The article also writes about EKOenergy's objectives and actions.
Thank you to all those involved!

"Renewable energy beyond borders".
In this new series, we showcase how EKOenergy contributes to the SDGs. Ahead of Womenโs Day, on 8 March, we begin with SDG 5, Gender Equality, and explore how renewable energy empowers women, strengthens communities, and fosters lasting social change.
Our weekly reminder to decision-makers here and elsewhere:
Much more can and must be done to realise the UN Sustainable Development Goals!
๐ Clean and affordable renewable energy for all
๐ฑ Respect nature
๐คฒ International solidarity
๐ฐ End discrimination

๐ถ In our newest campaign, we reach out to companies in the global music sector.
While some are developing their own strategies to switch to 100% renewable energy, most, unfortunately, don't have time to explore the options. This is where EKOenergy can help.
"The new micro-utility now provides 24/7 electricity to all 117 residents, replacing diesel generators and bringing reliable, clean power to every home."

Together with over 70 other organisations, we call upon Japan's Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) not to provide support for any expansion plans related to the Tangguh LNG project (Tangguh LNG) in West Papua Province, Indonesia.

We received more photos from a project we funded in Malawi.
The NGO RenewโNโAble Malawi (RENAMA) installed solar panels and solar-powered water pumps in four schools in southern Malawi. Additionally, our grant also enabled the construction of 2 solar kiosks to charge phones.
All works well!
Light for Ukraine!
Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine is entering its 5th year. Let's do more to support Ukrainians in their heroic fight for survival, democracy, and justice.
With EKOenergy, we regularly donate what we can to support solar installations in schools, hospitals... Contact us for more information.
Together with many other NGOs, experts, etc., we urge EU decision-makers to ensure that all funds falling under the three Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation voluntary sustainable product categories exclude companies developing new fossil fuel projects.

Cheers! 13 years of EKOenergy = 13 years of concrete, tangible climate action! EKOenergy users in over 80 countries, renewable energy campaigns, 10 million โฌ in grants for solar projects, and much more!

4 years of Russiaโs invasion. Ukrainians risk everything daily. Russia earned โฌ1 trillion from fossil fuels while EU loopholes let flows continue.
Our graphic shows who must act. The 20th EU #sanctions must close loopholes, ban maritime services, and sanction Yamal #LNG.
Today, we celebrate EKOenergy's 13th #anniversary.
We use this occasion to look back, express our thanks, and confirm that we are ready for more!
None of our work and achievements would have been possible without the active support of many of you. Thank you, all!
