I'm starting discussions informally about organizing trips to get passports (it's a 90 mile trip 1 way) and asking our senators about an ID mobile and funding for passport applications to come to us (similar process already in place for tribal IDs in some places).

Yes, they likely were. What's not so great is that it looks quite a bit like that right now. 28 percent of normal snowpack in this region of the state makes fire season look hinky. Which reminds me I want to go sign up to contribute to Watch Duty as a fire info volunteer.
