Yes. Some conferences allow authors to retain their copyright. Some organizers rejected published manuscripts or double-submissions, some did not care. Many institutions will not consider conference papers in their faculty promotion.

A less obvious case here where the last two authors' h-index is more than 80 at Google Scholar. F1 score is actually the harmonic mean of precision and recall.

Retract my PhD if this XRD pattern is real: Taeby et al. 2024 (DOI: 10.1007/s10971-023-06251-2). The unfortunately left a gap when pasting together their noise chunks so this is a pretty embarrassing case to defend. No idea if journal will act on it or not of course. pubpeer.com/publications...
