Don’t kid yourself. I have a union job and my company would slash my wage and benefits if not for the union. I make $5 an hour extra due to union negotiated cost of living allowance that gets evaluated every 3 months and indexed to inflation.
I’ve often wondered why JT called the 21 election 2 years early. I now believe he has a crystal ball and saw how things would go if he kept to the 4 year mandate. A 23 election would’ve put Cons in power, probably with a majority to kneel to Trump, which he also saw coming.

I knit hobby a sock yarn hat and swore at how long it took with such tiny needles. Less than a month later, I picked up some hot pink sock yarn and knit myself one too.
It took a couple of minutes for me to connect to a server. I’m guessing everyone got the email and are trying to log in.
I’m Canadian. Was surprised to see Egyptian and Israeli citrus in the produce section at my grocery store. I have not bought any product of the US since the threat of tariffs and annexation began. Grocery stores are all stepping up and clearly labelling where products are from.
Got the email to vote for the Liberal leadership race. I’ve now accomplished something today.
They were the ones not even trying. Went there once after open. It was a very pale, empty comparison of the US stores. Shelves half empty, next to no selection for anything. It was destined to fail.
Try this for dipping sauce: Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup honey, a squeeze of lemon juice and teaspoon of dried dill. I promise you and anyone who reads this that it is the best dipping sauce for chicken fingers/tenders.

About 20 years ago, Lululemon was fantastic. I still have yoga pants from back then. Quality has degraded over the years. Danskin has been around a lot longer. All my dance and figure skating gear was Danskin as a kid and the quality is still the same.
I’ve been wearing Danskin clothing since I was a kid in dance. IMO the quality of Danskin products are far superior to what lululemon currently offers.
I like to recreate childhood food and tastes. In summer, I make the same salad as my grandma used to make with it.
Bring it to him from the US? We have Miracle Whip in Canada. Grew up with my grandma using it as salad dressing in the 70’s.
if they want to go back to the 1950s, we’re bringing the cuisine back to the 1950s too. you put me in the kitchen, I will spend 100% of my time in there finding how much horseradish and shrimp I can put in Jello before God personally comes down here to stop me.

I’m excited to go clubbing tonight. By clubbing, I mean going to Costco and I’m excited because Google is telling me it’s a lot less busy than normal.
I never saw the same vet twice after my old vet retired and sold, despite trying to book an appointment with a specific vet who was only there for about 3 months after the takeover. They’d make an appointment with me requesting Dr. A and not even tell me Dr. A had quit.
My small private clinic sold out to a corp years ago. I no longer go there. Nothing but a money grab and when you decline their ‘services’ they make you feel like you don’t really love your pet because you’re not doing what they say is best for them. The vets don’t even act as if they like animals.
Sounds like when my ex would blame me for making him hit me.
