The most frightening part of this is that I remember being in the East Stand watching us put 5 past Man U in their relegation season. π΄π#lufc
I might be old but I remember when winning trophies was important. We used to get fined for resting players in the league, to put out a strong side for the cup matches. βWe finished 12th and not 15th certificateβ doesnβt look as pretty in the trophy cabinet. A week to rest to next game. Go for it.
Had that fixture and performance been straight after Man City away back in December, I think that might have been the end of Farke and goodness knows where weβd be now. . A depressing watch but not at all typical of this #lufc side.
Stopping for Ramadan liquids is no more disruptive than stopping to applaud a fan whoβs died. People booing shamed the club last night, and need to grow up #lufc
Media keep telling us WHU are the form side and will pull away from relegation. Who are they going to pass?
π You got there before me on that one Josey.
Everytime I hear it, I roll my eyes and think, βcome on now, think of something newβ. Itβs so boring to hear every match. I bet opposing fans think they are so clever and witty. Very sad.
WHU are doing so well that since game week 13 they have managed to move from being 0 points behind Leeds to 6 points behind and still maintain 18th in the table.
Weβre all #lufc saying the final PL relegation points total is going to be massive but hereβs the 18th place after 26 games for the last 10 seasons, final total in brackets.

West Ham are Spursβ problem
My recollection was that Sprake was the weakest link in that team but tbf, I didnβt get to go to every game and there was very little TV coverage. We had to work on anecdotal evidence then.
I wasnβt sure about him at the start of the season but heβs grown as a PL player. He is always just in the right place to cut out danger and pick up the loose balls. Knows when to put in the big tackle and get the crowd lifted, confronts opposition players in a strong and controlled way. First class
It just struck me when I was thinking about the January window, I wonder how much of their transfer budget the WHU fans would give up to be 6 points ahead of #lufc?
Potential for widespread rhinotomies resulting in a multitude of faces spiten
If he doesnβt sign for Palace, that doesnβt necessarily mean he would have been within our budget reach. Weβve supposedly made a bid which wasnβt good enough. Palaceβs offer was way higher. Itβs unlikely that there is a midway position that would suit buyer and seller

There is more to football management than formations, line ups and making subs. We have gone into most games with an inferior squad but team spirit, fitness, drive and determination donβt just happen on their own. DF has over achieved more often than under.
Had the two halves been reversed, the mood would have been much more positive. We went out and equalised first at the home of a top 10 side who are off the back of an away win against Villa who themselves have won 10 of the previous 12. Recent history shows promoted clubs struggling. Weβre ok π€
40 it is then π
Nah, our gap is bigger and weβve got a game in hand. Add to that, theyβve got a tough away fixture next week.
I regularly visit here to see if there is any breaking #lufc transfer news and everytime I do so, I see Trump/ICE news that sickens and appalls me. I just hope that as a nation we donβt sleep walk into something similar.
The response to this should be cancelling the kings state visit to the US.
Putin and Netanyahu must be wondering what they did wrong to not get an invite
Looking back over 10 seasons in the PL, 25 points from 22 matches had a league position range of 10-15th. Weβre currently 16th. The points gap to 18th is healthy but unusually there are few teams filling that lower gap. #lufc
Adam Pope has had a downer on him from very early on. TBF though, DF is culpable and to an extent has lead the latest dissent. Everything DF says is magnified 1st because itβs Leeds and 2nd because itβs the PL. I found it odd that he chose to single him out twice.
Ok, Iβve taken the plunge. Iβve deactivated my βYeeedoβ account on X. A bit of FOMO but Iβve rid myself of some of the click bait , bots, racists and other unsavoury stuff that breeds in that sewer. Hopefully Iβll still get plenty of #lufc news with good humour on here
Been fishing around Pescador for quite a while. Jimmy Whistler says he doesnβt want to move away from his Mother and Laughtonβs asking too much, heβs having a laugh.
Are we all under achievers, vicariously seeking success in our lives through the efforts of others? Itβs not working for me btw. Iβm a product of the Revie generation and Iβve been waiting 50 years to get back to the level of β75 so that we can push on from there.
Our house? Are you taking him as a lodger? Or by β our houseβ do you mean LUFC?
Seriously Iβve not seen this, although after the window closed ( transfer - not one in our house) , Iβve closed off to transfer news to allow for some emotional healing
