'Daytona USA' was released in Arcades 32 years ago this month in Japan.

Our hero, the young knight named Jim (that's his actual name but will henceforth be refereed to as Jim), running like an oaf towards a stone bridge he just saw because it's finally something else than endless dirt, shrubbery and trees. The area across the river and bridge also show an actual hill, surrounded by some trees!
Jim wearing his jankiest leather armor and brown peasant clothes, visiting a spooky graveyard that's completely overgrown and scattered with decaying gravestones. Luckily, the living dead have risen from their graves so there's something to swing your dagger at.
Jim managing to find a sword and leather shield and visits the private chambers of a vampire lord, swinging his sword and making the pixel-drawn Dracula freak out from the magically infused blade. Holy enchantment Bat Man!
Our hero looking more and more like a knight after finding an actual metal armor, deciding to delve into some deep dungeons and running into a Will-O-Wisp, blue ball emitting lightning and spooking Jim senseless.
