Thanks Jehannine!
Thanks Jehannine!
Thank you old friend :)
Thanks Iva ♥️ I’ve been kind of absent here but thinking about making a comeback :)
Exact. Same. Feels.
Good point
Sure… but it’s all drama, all the time here 😉
It’s so weird
Whoah. That totally tracks - the feeling seasick thing. Feel wobbly-bobbily when I stand up. I also have POTS and it kinda feels like that
Huh… could it be from low frequency vibration? It feels kinda like pre-migraine ick
So, southern coast friends… don’t know if feeling nauseous after an earthquake is a thing? Feeling weirdly nauseous/dizzy after this earthquake (5.1 - prob the biggest I’ve felt)
Was so loud here. Thought it was rockfall
Yah. Yikes
Fantastic paper on the need for culture change to emphasize the importance of pain relief in pediatric procedures. 'One-off' events can accumulate & increase trauma & fear - not just of the specific procedure but of healthcare interactions in general.

ICYMI, I recently posted about the controversy around language in patient partnership. I'm very much in the camp of using the terminology #PatientPartner
over other options & I'm curious how others feel. #PatientPartnership #PatientEngagement

Thank you @dalhousieu.bsky.social for featuring SKIP in Dal Solutions & for highlighting the importance of Canada’s first Pediatric Pain Management health standard (tinyurl.com/a2bbs5r2) in improving children's pain! #ItDoesntHaveToHurt @seastarbatita.bsky.social

Holy cow — it takes a long time to shop when you’re checking every product to make sure it’s not from the US. #WorthIt
I've been trying to get this done for soooooo long!
It's been *waaay* to long in coming, but I've been wanting to write this piece on #PatientPartnership language for well over a year (2 years maybe?). In it I describe why I use the language I do.

lol re ‘mandatory masking’ in bc healthcare facilities. Was in the ER last night and nobody was wearing a mask except for one healthcare provider. Not. A. Soul.

LolSOB yes
Sidenote 2: we spent that New Year’s Eve camping with friends in the desert outside of Vegas.
Sidenote 1: the previous fall my husband and I dressed as the Y2K bug and gave props to anyone who could figure it out 😝
When I hear folks saying it was all a nothingburger, I know why that was the case.
Here in our little town, I was part of a little grant-funded project putting on seminars for the public and businesses explaining to them why it was important that they downloaded all of those patches to make their equipment Y2K compatible.
I’ve got a hankering to binge read all of Cory Doctorow’s catalogue. Staring with the ones that I’ve missed and then going back to the ones that I’ve already read
Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design
😆
Well of course! 😉
