what i’m thinking about now though is all the people who are alone

no one would know they farted so does it really count

it’s like the tree falling in the forest thing

the real danger to smelling farts is lack of oxigen so if someone is cutting your air and ONLY making you breathe farts

but yeah wouldn’t be dangerous here

so from what i just read, it could be dangerous but only with prolonged exposure, so not in our case

also i just learned farts can be more dangerous (because they contain more types of gas) depending on the person and their health

yeah that probably wouldn’t be fun

but if you’re with *that* big of a group then you’re probably either outside or in a place where you can open windows

wouldn’t last long

see i was literally thinking about it

would everyone be farting the same or would we fart accordingly to how we usually fart

because if it’s the latter when i’m thinking it wouldn’t be THAT noticeable since a lot of people fart silently

but if it’s the former then for sure we would notice

im thinking it would make everyone pause for a moment and then probably create some kind of general panic? and we know how impactful a worldly "pause" could be even for a minute soooo it would defo be a problem somehow

meh, there’s much more noise pollution today

ALTHOUGH it would probably be an issue in the hemisphere where it’s nighttime, because the noise would probably wake a lot of people up

but once again, social impact not a polluting one

okay so im thinking it’s very probable that nearly everyone on the planet farts at least once in the span of 24 hours

sooooo my thoughts is that if it has no impact over a day then it probably wouldn’t have much impact either if it happened all at once, except maybe a social one lol
