Public engagement isn’t a problem to manage, it’s how we make sure government delivers for us, especially in moments like these. Reducing speaking time right when residents are asking hard questions sends the wrong message. Vineland deserves more transparency, not less.

Military action should never be rushed or taken outside the law. The best way we honor those who wear the uniform is by making sure force is the last resort.

My take on Trump’s reckless decision to strike Iran: Congress needs to do its job immediately and take back its power. Americans don’t want another foreign conflict. This is a huge mistake with zero gameplan.

This strike happened without approval from Congress, raising huge constitutional and strategic concerns. It’s escalation that’s dangerous and not in U.S. interests.
We need strategy, diplomacy, and checks and balances, not reckless conflict.

On Tuesday I asked a simple question at the Vineland City Council meeting about the data center and possible conflicts of interest.
I was interrupted then warned I could be sued for slander. The message: “We’ll lose, but you’ll pay for it.”
Asking questions isn’t slander. It’s accountability.

Yesterday at the Vineland City Council meeting, I asked:
With this data center project, are any current or former New Jersey public officials receiving compensation?
They didn’t like that very much. I was interrupted and later warned about the risk of being sued for slander. “You want lawsuits?”
We’ve been pushing back against the Vineland data center for months.
Now the City Council wants to cut our speaking time because they don’t like what they’re hearing.
You can cut a few minutes off our speeches but you can’t silence this community. We’re not going anywhere.

On Sunday I joined Oasis United Methodist Church in Pleasantville for an inspiring service and had the opportunity to share a few words.
Faith and service remind us that when we come together as a community, we can strengthen what binds us and repair a politics that has felt broken for too long.

Premiums have doubled for 20 million Americans.
I’ll fight to lower premiums, take on drug companies, and strengthen the government’s ability to negotiate for lower prices.
