π΅ We were so saddened to hear this morning of the passing of Sister Stanislaus Kennedy. We will forever be inspired by her tenacity, dedication, courage and determination to speak up for those with the weakest voices in society - In her memory lets never give up doing what is right and just for all.
Last night in Copenhagen, Sanctuary Runners won a major international award for our work in community integration. We are still pinching ourselves. Delighted, especially, for all our participants, our organisers, our groups, our supporters, our people #Solidarity

Our sincere thanks to Neale Richmond, Minister of State for International Development for his support this week. This video of the Minister welcoming the world to join in our #GlobalSolidarityRun on October 11th was heartfelt and very much appreciated this week. It was played at our Osaka launch.
So fortunate this morning to spend a couple of hours with Keiko Tanaka, founder of Rafiq (a refugee support NGO) in Osaka in the company of long time Sanctuary Runner Hirohiko Katayama.
We spoke of their work and the huge difficulties faced by refugees in Japan. Learned so much. #Solidarity
"Now, more than ever, we need to stand up and demand that people are treated with decency and humanity"

Image of impending storm with text overlaid: 'Climate change will manifest as a series of disasters viewed through phones with footage that gets closer and closer to where you live until you're the one filming it.'

Today marks nine years since Jo Cox was assassinated by a far-right extremist, a terrible loss to those who knew and loved her and to politics. Zero lessons were learned though and the far-right continues to be pandered to. With more political assassinations in the US it all feels too familiar.
π΅ Along the route at this year's Cork City Marathon our team received love, support and motivation everywhere. Thank you Cork - #Solidarity #Friendship #Respect ALWAYS

Pls don't take your eyes off what is happening to the people of Gaza today, the purposeful genocide & starvation of an entire population
They want you to look elsewhere, they want you to be overwhelmed
The blood lust is depraved-And those who supply the cover as bad as those who pull the trigger
No rest for the wicked: despite having just launched an all-out war on #Iran, Israel continues to simultaneously slaughter civilians in #Gaza.
The only language they understand is violence.
