We will forever be inspired by her tenacity, dedication, courage and determination to speak up for those with the weakest voices in society - In her memory lets never give up doing what is right and just for all.

So fortunate this morning to spend a couple of hours with Keiko Tanaka, founder of Rafiq (a refugee support NGO) in Osaka in the company of long time Sanctuary Runner Hirohiko Katayama.
We spoke of their work and the huge difficulties faced by refugees in Japan. Learned so much. #Solidarity

Today marks nine years since Jo Cox was assassinated by a far-right extremist, a terrible loss to those who knew and loved her and to politics. Zero lessons were learned though and the far-right continues to be pandered to. With more political assassinations in the US it all feels too familiar.
