It really has been an incredible year for games. My top 3 releases of the year, in no particular order, are Expedition 33, Silksong, and Blue Prince.
To put it into perspective, any of these titles would've easily been by GOTY last year. What a stacked year!

If only it had spring triggers, I think the Switch 2 pro controller might have become my favorite game pad.

A card from the new MTG set, Tarkir: Dragonstorm. Card: Zurgo, Thunder's Decree Cost: {1R}{1W}{1B} Legendary Creature- Orc Warrior Mobilize 2 (Whenever this creature attacks, create two tapped and attacking 1/1 red Warrior creature tokens. Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step.) During your end step, Warrior tokens you control have "This token can't be sacrificed."
The card text "this [type] can't be sacrificed" is new to MTG Arena and was a bit tricky to implement. Our dev Alex Werner is here to chat about why that is and how we made it happen.

I'm used to Metroidvanias granting double jump near the halfway mark, so I was pretty surprised at Ender Magnolia unlocking it 10 minutes in. Yay mobility!
Ooh, there's a Switch 2 event in Toronto on my birthday weekend... It'll probably be a zoo but I kind of want to go. It's been ages since I've done something like that.
