I feel like every pathetic post from your government is a drip, drip of radicalisation to the rest of the world against the USA.

There is β€œno evidence that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is overdiagnosed in the UK” and the condition could even be β€œunderdiagnosed”, a team of experts has said

EU scrambles to defend Spain from Trump’s embargo menace President Donald Trump’s threat to cut all ties with Spain after it opposed his war on Iran again puts the bloc’s unity to the test.

🚨🚨Symbolically important that EU countries and EU institutions shore up support for #spain in the context of fear of trade retaliation from the #Trump regime. This should be self-evident but unity of EU here is under pressure. 🧡

We've been pretty much two party for decades so this is, in one sense a good thing - more parties but as you suggest, they are even further apart than Labour and Conservatives. We need to move to a PR system here and away from FPTP. I think Labour had promised this.

Relieved, hopefully and proud of Manchester. I think, despite all the bad press, Labour are achieving a great deal but they are overly concerned with reform and they need to stick to their true ideals. Starmer standing up to Trump and showing some mettle has been encouraging.

Is this the way to fix our broken electoral system? The government is quietly getting on with important legislation to improve how our elections work. So what's the plan, and is it enough?

Foreign money. Shell companies. Russian and US interference.

The government’s new Bill tightens donation rules and introduces β€œKnow Your Donor” checks.

Is it enough to protect UK elections in 2029?

He's the Canadian Nigel Farage, a traitor who's backed the wrong horse. Serves only himself.

People literally voting for the future of society. They've backed the wrong horse... Again.

That's what I keep holding on to and I agree last night is further evidence.

To get into power Reform has to split the vote among the other parties by enough that 29% of the vote is enough to win. We can't let that happen.

I haven't lived in Manchester for a very long time but I am so nervous about today's election I couldn't sleep last night. It feels big.

Mine wants to go into conservation/ecology. She will NEVER be able to pay it off. She's extremely bright. We cannot afford it but not poor enough, she won't qualify for grants. It's so unfair.

I find it hard to see the benefits of most degrees these days. My kids will be going soon, I'm not sure it's going to be worth it.

We don't say it that openly in public! You've got to have a word that's reserved only for utter, utter cunts and nothing quite tops it. Not to be said in front of children or your mother in law, you know.
