We've been pretty much two party for decades so this is, in one sense a good thing - more parties but as you suggest, they are even further apart than Labour and Conservatives. We need to move to a PR system here and away from FPTP. I think Labour had promised this.

I haven't lived in Manchester for a very long time but I am so nervous about today's election I couldn't sleep last night. It feels big.
Mine wants to go into conservation/ecology. She will NEVER be able to pay it off. She's extremely bright. We cannot afford it but not poor enough, she won't qualify for grants. It's so unfair.
I find it hard to see the benefits of most degrees these days. My kids will be going soon, I'm not sure it's going to be worth it.
Thing is, I could totally imagine her doing this, if she ever made breakfast herself that is π€£
