I am grateful for finding joy β and peace even β in the mundane. Cooking and watering my garden are two new joys. Who knew?
Whatβs the adult equivalent of being 10 years old and glued to a transistor radio hearing that your school is closed for a snow day?
Itβs really crazy how much Iβve been agreeing with Rep. Thomas Massie recently!
Yes!! Itβs why I go on a news fast regularly.
What are we looking at here? Question 2: Whenβs lunch?
Today I am grateful for Nancyβs Mexican street corn and her native great grandmotherβs recipe. Roasted corn and a secret sauce of mayonnaise, sour cream, cheese, and TajΓn. She wonβt divulge other ingredients or amounts, and Iβm not asking. Happy to live with the yummy final product.
I am grateful to wake up and see Iβve been granted another day.
Youβ¦ livinβ!!
Your favorite spy/espionage thriller? Iβll go first: The Eye of the Needle, Ken Follett.
I am grateful for a full nightβs sleep. Yeeeeee haaaaaaaaa.
Today I am grateful for the freedom to be myself. As John Denver said: βThe best thing you have to offer the world is yourself. You donβt have to copy anyone else.β Be yourself, be happy. (Psst. Nobodyβs watching anyway.)

βIβve never trusted happiness. I never have, and I never will.β
Today I am grateful for my former business partner, Thomas W. Warrner. Tom took care of many of the daily operations while I was goofing off and scheming about big deals and alliances. Without Tomβs careful guidance, we would have been out of business a dozen times over the years. Thanks, Tom.
Today I am grateful for gratitude itself. Practicing gratitude becomes a happiness booster! Wow. Be grateful, get happy.
Today Iβm grateful for advice from my father. One of my favorite pieces was: βDonβt be a fuckinβ Scrooge, Michael. Especially with your time. If you do something well, pass it on.β Thanks, Dad.
Imagine being the most powerful man in the world and being this much of a whiney victim BITCH.
Good god what a child
Today I am grateful for diners. Breakfast is usually my favorite meal, and a good diner always hits the spot. Bonus points if they know how to make real home fries and the waitress calls you βhon.β
And the book is?
Today I am grateful for⦠today. Why would you want to miss a minute of this?

I am grateful for Florida citrus. Right off the tree, this stuff is amazing. I shake my head β itβs soooo good I canβt believe itβs healthy.
Today I am grateful for once-in-a-lifetime experiences, especially if youβre able to recognize them as such.

Gratitude. Today I am grateful for learning about Stoic philosophy and focusing just on my teeny corner of the world. Thereβs so much I canβt control and Iβm striving to be okay with that.
Today I am grateful for Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., a fellow Hoosier and my favorite author. I try to follow his advice when experiencing a happy moment. He suggests saying out loud: βIf this isnβt nice, I donβt know what is.β Try it out sometime.
