MST3K runs a film called “Space Travelers” every now and again - that Gene Hackman has a small role in. Their job in that show is to have fun making fun of the films that screen. They say nothing about Hackman except for: “Gene Hackman…he’s always good.” They were right, he always was. R.I.P
ANORA. It’s fine. Liked it didn’t love. Mikey Madison was indeed great, but I’m just stunned at the heaps of praise this film has received. I couldn’t help but think of my fav movie from 2021 that never got a tenth of the love ANORA has received. ZOLA is soooo good. 86 minutes of creativity. See it!
