These snails live in shallow waters at locations around the world (Hawaii, South Africa, Japan).
A greenish black toad with large, widely spaced warty bumps on their back, perched on a stick! The warty bumps are brown in color, as is the top of their head, their large parotoid glands, and the back sides of their legs!
Our friend the Udzungwa Glandular Tree Toad was first described as a new species just a few months ago! Like other toads in genus Nectophrynoides, they do not lay eggs and instead give birth to fully developed toadlets! (photo by John Lyakurwa)

Experiments involving infants are usually very restrictive in that the infant must have a probable direct benefit from the experimental treatment, as is the case in the treatment of serious diseases. I do not see how this is guaranteed here and how this can be ethically allowed.
Measuring growth might not catch micronutrient deficiencies. Breastfeeding women are also very restricted in the medication they can take, as traces might end up in the milk and the effects on the infant are usually not tested. So what about the chemical cocktails needed to induce lactation in men?
