This after ending Day One with our best Viticulture game, which Sharla won 27-26 while having only four workers to my six.
After my incredibly lucky run to start 5-0, we’ve been dead even over the next twelve games. Sharla wins what was probably the best Azul game for both of us, 94-88, to make it 12-7. #BoardGameMarathon2026
My opponent’s “good luck charms” keep drawing suspiciously closer to me.

This is an interesting look into the judging process, but I’m still not sure if explaining my game via finger puppets was the best idea.

More great games is good for the industry I guess, but as an entrant I was kind of hoping everyone else submitted a worse version of tic-tac-toe.
